Practical Selection Day advice

If you’ve been invited to a Practical Selection Day, congratulations! This means we were impressed with your application, and would like to meet you in person.

Practical Selection Days are a key part of our selection process, as our performing arts courses require specific skills and abilities. You’ll be invited onto campus and have the opportunity to showcase your talents and creativity while we assess your skill level, collaboration, and how you respond to direction. You’ll also get to meet our teaching staff and students, take a look around our facilities and get a deeper understanding of the course.

What can you do to prepare?

The best way to get ready for your Practical Selection Day is to read the relevant course advice page carefully. On these pages you can find out exactly what will happen on the day and what you will be expected to perform. Remember, we’re not looking for perfection, but for your potential. We’re eager to see your passion for the subject, so let your enthusiasm shine through!
