Our media courses are designed to give you the skills you need to succeed in the media industry, whether you are passionate about exploring critical perspectives in media, television and film or want to build a technical and practical skillset to prepare for a role in journalism, digital broadcasting or social media production.

Modern facilities 

Our new Digital Tech Learning Hub was designed to meet the growing demand for advanced digital skills and helps prepare graduates for highly technical roles, supporting companies in upskilling their staff, and enabling more flexible and inclusive study programmes.

As a Media, Communciations and Film student at DMU, you’ll have access to ew facilities such as TV Production, Content, Motion Capture, Virtual Production and Image Capture studios, among others.

Graduates work in a range of careers from producers, editors, and writers to journalists, researchers and television production staff at the BBC, the Guardian, the Telegraph, Sky Sports, Film4 and Odeon Entertainment.
